Lokra Battalion of Assam Rifles organised Yoga Utsav to mark the celebration of the 8th International Day

Lokra Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 21 Sector and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised Yoga Utsav to mark the celebration of the 8th International Day of yoga in various locations of Lokra, Dhekiajuli, Dumduma in Sonitpur district and Helem Balipukhri, Itakhola in Biswanath Charali district, Assam on 21 June 2022.
The event began with the recitation of National anthem followed by carrying out various yoga asanas and meditation. Live address of the Prime Minister on the occasion the International Yoga Day was also screened and witnessed by the Battalion.
The Utsav was enthusiastically participated by 482 personnel and their families who pledged to make practicing yoga an integral habit of their lifestyle.
A total of 54 civilians also participated in the Utsav organised by Lokra Battalion at various places of Sonitpur and Biswanath Charali district.
