In a vibrant display of energy, unity, and national spirit, the Assam Rifles organised the Fit India Freedom Run 6.0 at Gaukhal, Boro Bekera Sub-Division, Jiribam District on 31st October 2025.
The event witnessed an overwhelming turnout of over 450 participants, including members of local CSOs, school children from nearby villages, CRPF personnel, and Manipur Police personnel, symbolizing the true spirit of bonhomie and cohesion among all stakeholders.
The event was graced by Col Prashant Singh Chundawat, SC, as the Chief Guest, whose inspiring words encouraged everyone to adopt fitness as a way of life. The day began with the Freedom Run for various age categories — with participants ranging from spirited 7-year-olds to energetic 70-year-olds — painting a beautiful picture of enthusiasm and collective strength.

The celebration continued with an invigorating Zumba session, a thrilling Dog Show, and a prize distribution ceremony honouring the winners across categories. The event concluded with breakfast and refreshments for all attendees.
The air was filled with cheers, laughter, and camaraderie, with the highlight being the echoing voices of school children chanting “We Love Assam Rifles!” — a testament to the trust and affection the Force continues to inspire among the people.
