Assam Rifles National Integration Tour under it’s Civic Action Programme for Jiri Ima Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (JIMPAL) members from Jiribam, Manipur reached Guwahati exploring Northeast’s Cultural Heritage!
The participants visited iconic landmarks in Guwahati including the revered Kamakhya temple, a sacred site for devotees and Umananda temple, situated on Peacock Island in Brahmaputra river accessible only by ferry.
The visit aimed to promote cultural understanding and showcase the rich heritage of Northeast India. In the stage of the tour, the team. will move o Howrah, spreading the spirit of cultural exploration and national integration.
