In continuation with the sixth day of relentless flood rescue efforts in the Silchar Town of Assam, Srikona Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 21 Sector Assam Rifles & IGAR (East) extended a helping hand to the flood victims.
The Medical team of Srikona Battalion reached out to the local populace suffering from illness caused due to raging floods.
The Srikona Battalion abreast by its extensive rescue operations in the city rendered immediate medical aid to the flood victims.
The medical team attended especially the sick, elderly, injured and expecting mothers.
The Selfless humanitarian efforts of the Srikona battalion were highly appreciated by the locals. The Assam Rifles are standing up to their credo “Friends of the hill people “
