Xobdo.org, a community-driven platform known for its multilingual dictionary and promotion of Northeast Indian languages, has announced a new initiative to make Assamese learning more accessible worldwide.
It has launched an online course, “Learn Assamese Speaking & Reading-Writing”, starting 20 September 2025. Designed for learners aged 14+, it offers 15 live sessions at ₹500 each, with three free trial classes. The course covers basics of Assamese grammar—tenses, singular-plural forms, sentence construction, negation, and counting to 20—along with practical communication. Learners will also study adjectives, adverbs, and articles while building a vocabulary of over 1,000 words. A unique alphabet-teaching method simplifies letter recognition through shape-based learning.
