■ In a significant crackdown on illicit liquor trade in Jiribam District, Assam Rifles seized 1,800 cases of country-made liquor valued at approximately ₹15 lakhs in Leinangpokpi, Jiribam District, Manipur on 09 July 25. The opeartion also resulted in apprehension of two individuals involved in the illicit trade.
The operation led to successful seizure of the country made liquor underscores the commitment of Assam Rifles in curbing illegal activities and enforcing law and order in the region. By targeting illicit liquor networks, Assam Rifles aims to protect public health and safety while also supporting local authorities in maintaining peace and security.
