Swarnim Vijay Shikha welcomed in Kamang sector of Arunachal Pradesh
Tezpur, Sep 13: In memory of India’s victory over Pakistan in 1971 and 50 years of Bangladesh’s liberation, the swarnim Vijay Masal (Vijay Shikha), who flagged off from the National Memorial in Delhi on December 16, 2020, entered kameng sector of western Arunachal Pradesh today.
Celebrated Through a colourful programme, the army personnel passed March and handed over the flame to top army officers in Kameng sector.
The Indian Army received huge respect from the local people before entering the Army’s Sauni in the Kameng sector of the 1962 Indo-China war. Senior officials also welcomed the victory flame in tribute at the army’s sauni.Vijay Masal entered 101 areas of the Indian Army along the Assam-West Bengal border on July 26 and then entered the Army office in Shillong on July 27.The Indian Army has taken out this mask in memory of 50 years of bangladesh’s liberation from
Pakistan.The army also said that the gaurav vijay shikha will be officially welcomed on September 22 at the Tawang War Memorial army sauni along the Indo-China border. The state government of Arunachal Pradesh will also pay homage at the function.
