Tezpur, 19 October: Security forces of IGAR (South) under Spear Corps in a joint operation with Manipur Police recovered arms and ammunitions from Andro Khingthak village, Imphal East district, in Manipur, official said.
Based on specific input from reliable sources, security forces along with Manipur Police launched an operation which led to recovery of one AK Series Rifle with the magazine, 15 live rounds of AK, two 9 mm pistols with magazines, 21 live rounds of 9 mm, two hand Held Radio Set and 18 x detonators.
The recovered items were handed over to Andro Police Station for further investigation.
