As part of National Integration Tour (NIT) organised by Assam Rifles, the students visited prominent national and historical sites in New Delhi on 21 Nov 25.
The day commenced with a visit to India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan, where the students witnessed the ceremonial Guard Mounting experiencing the nation’s ceremonial heritage.
The team then proceeded to National Museum, exploring its extensive collections that showcased India’s civilizational journey, cultural evolution and artistic achievements.
This was followed by a tour of the Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Gandhi Smriti, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.
The day’s engagements enriched the students on India’s heritage and furthered the objectives of national integration.
