● In a dedicated effort to improve healthcare access in remote regions, Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp in Phaitol village, Jiribam District, Manipur.
The initiative aimed to uplift the health and well-being of local residents by delivering essential medical care and fostering health awareness at the grassroots level. Villagers from nearby areas also attended the medical camp.
Led by a qualified Medical Officer, Assam Rifles medical team provided free consultations, distributed essential medicines, and educated attendees on primary healthcare practices and preventive care. The effort was focused not only on treatment but also on instilling long-term health awareness and promoting community well-being.
A total of 218 villagers, including 87 women, 68 men and 63 children attened the camp. The warm response and gratitude expressed by the villagers underscored the importance of such initiatives in far flung areas
