ASSAM RIFLES CONDUCTS A DAY WITH COMPANY COMMANDER IN MANIPUR
As a sequel to the National Integration Tour conducted by Assam Rifles in March 2024 for the students of remote schools of Nungba and adjoining areas, “A day with Company Commander”, was conducted at Nungba on 30 April 2024 . A total of 80 boys and girls including teachers of St John’s School, alongwith representatives of the Nungba women society , participated in the event with immense zeal and enthusiasm.
During the day, children participated in several team building activities such as Blind folded Tent Pitching , Spider Web Crossing and water volleyball. These activities accentuated the importance of team spirit and camaraderie in the children.
The music enthusiasts made most of the company commander’s guitar to put up a musical spectacle along the sidelines of the event. The day long event culminated with the children enjoying a sumptouous feast with the company Commander and sharing their thoughts and ideas. The children expressed their passion to join the Armed Forces especially Army and Air Force and serve the nation with pride and glory. Assam Rifles has always been at the forefront of connecting with the locals and children through such activities, in order to help them sculpt a bright future for them thereof.
