EC informs that seizures of over Rs 1,760 crore have been reported in five poll going states since announcement of the elections.

This is more than seven times the seizures of around Rs 215 crore made in previous assembly elections in States of Mizoram, MP, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Telangana in 2018.

So far the highest of nearly Rs 659 crore of seizures was made in Telangana, followed by Rs 650 crore in Rajasthan and Rs 323 crore in MP.
