30 Bn CRPF holds Nat’l Unity Day in Biswanath

The 30 Bn of Central Reserve Police force (CRPF) celebrated the National Unity Day on Saturday in Monabari Tea estate, Biswanath by organising cycling rally, and lectures.

The day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) is being celebrated on October 31 since 2014 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

On this occasion Sh B V Singh Jodha, Assistant Commandant, 30 Bn CRPF briefed to the Students and teaching staff of Monabari High School about the Sardar Patel’s tenacity, vision and significant contribution in the unification of the country.

He also said the important role the CRPF played after India got freedom and shaping the force and its transition from Crown Representative Police to present-day CRPF.

The celebration was also attended by principal, Monabari Higher secondary school, Teaching staff, Students, other civil society members and CRPF.
Cycle rally was also organised at Monbari tea estate to mark the occasion.
