On Friday December- 01, 2023 The 30 Battalion CRPF organized a Civic action programme at North Eastern Regional multipurpose school & Handicapped Training center Balipukari , under PS Biswanath Chariali, in Biswanath District. 30 Bn CRPF having Headquarter at Sonitpur district and having jurisdiction in Sonitpur, Biswanath, Dhemaji and Lakhimpur districts has been performing both operational and law and order duties. Inauguration function of hand over newly installed Solar Street Light at North Eastern Regional multipurpose school & Handicapped Training center Balipukari Under AOR Of E/30 Distt- Biswanath (Assam) living by its motto “Utkrishta Hamara Sankalp” was concluded followed by programme which was attended by respected eminent personality of the area, president of school and large number of villagers.
Sh. Arun Kumar Meena, Commandant 30 BN CRPF and Shri Hiranya Saikia, In-charge of training Center/School inaugurated the 02 Nos Solar street light in presence of Shri Daniel L. Hmar, Dy. Commandant, Smt Bharti Upadhya Councillar of Burigaon Panchyat, Smt Jinti Bora Hazarika Principal of Andada Ram Baruah High School, Shri Hira Bora Gram Pradhan of Balipukhuri Village and resident of the area peoples . Sh. Daniel L. Hmar, Dy. Commandant of 30 Bn spoke in length about the commitment of CRPF and 30 Battalion in particular to offer a helping hand to the local people in all aspects of social sector. He stressed that the programme was held under the able guidance of Sh. Birendra Kumar Sharma, Inspector General, Ops Jorhat Sector and Sh. Anil Bisht, DIG Range Khatkhati, CRPF.
Sh. Daniel L. Hmar, Dy. Commandant also briefed about ongoing civic action programme 2023-24 in which 30 Bn organized a free medical camp at North Lakshimpur and Dhemaji district ,and installed two nos Toilet Block at Chariduar Govt Primary School, and 02 Nos Solar street light installed at Mercy Children Orphanage Home, Vill-Murikuti, Chariduar, Sonitpur District. Besides shortly unit will install library with indigenous books at Nevil High secondary School, Chariduar and organize a Mega football tournament for aspiring sports players to help needy villagers of Assam.

Shri Hiranya Saikia, In-Charge of training Center and their parents express their gratitude and sincere thanks to 30 Bn for this Nobel cause. They are very cheerful on fulfilling their long awaiting demand of Solar Street Light for Physical Handicap Personnel.
