In a dedicated effort to improve healthcare access in remote regions, Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp in Kaiphundai Village, Tamenglong District, Manipur.

The initiative aimed to uplift the health and well-being of local residents by delivering essential medical care and fostering health awareness at the grassroots level. Led by a qualified Medical Officer, the Assam Rifles medical team provided free consultations, distributed essential medicines and educated attendees on primary healthcare practices and preventive care.

A total of 54 villagers, including 32 women, 8 men and 14 children, were administered quality healthcare. The warm response and gratitude expressed by the villagers underscored the importance of such initiatives in far flung areas.
