ASSAM RIFLES ENSURES SMOOTH CONDUCT OF NCC ‘B’ CERTIFICATE EXAMINATION IN JIRIBAM

Showcasing its resilient efforts towards nation and community building, The Assam Rifles successfully provided security and logistical support for the National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘B’ Certificate Examination held at Jiribam Higher Secondary School on 23 Feb 2025.

The examination was conducted for cadets of the 14 (Manipur) NCC Battalion based in Imphal and involved an MCQ examination followed by a series of practical tests based on weapon training, drill and marching and tactical aspects. The same was jointly supervised by Presiding Officer from Assam Rifles and members of NCC.

This successful event highlights the broader transformation that Jiribam and surrounding areas have undergone, largely due to the persistent efforts of security forces. Assam Rifles multi-faceted approach, combining security operations with civic action programs, has been instrumental in winning the trust of local communities and creating an atmosphere conducive to peace and development. This transformation has enabled institutions like schools and colleges to function normally, allowing students to pursue their academic goals without fear or disruption.
