ASSAM RIFLES ORGANIZED  PEACE MEET AT PHAITHOL VILLAGE, TAMENGLONG DISTRICT OF MANIPUR

Deputy Commisioner Tamenglong, SDO Tausem sub division, community chiefs and Village heads of 12 nearby villages attended the meet. During the meeting, the importance of community participation in maintaining a safe and secure environment was emphasized. The attendees were encouraged to report any suspicious activity or incidents to the appropriate authorities to ensure a timely response and effective resolution. Discussions on the provision of essentials supply were also carried out.

Assam Rifles highlighted and appreciated the support of locals in keeping the security threshold under control till date as a result of which Jiribam and Tamenglong have emerged as a model District for complete Manipur to emulate in ongoing turmoil.
