Lokra Battalion of Assam rifles organised a Rehabilitation Camp for children with speech related difficulties

Lokra Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ 21 Sect and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a Rehabilitation Camp for children with speech related difficulties on 12 July 2022.
The Camp was organised at Assam Rifles High School in Lokra, Sonitpur district, Assam.
Children having issues like delayed speech, speech impairment and other communication related issues attended the camp.Children were analysed by audiologist Dr. Ayub Ali Thakuria, Director, Children & Speech Rehabilitation Centre, Goalpara,
Assam.Parents were also guided with various parenting techniques and methods to continue the therapy session of their children in general and specific practices suggested to the parents.
A total of four children along with their parents were benefitted from the camp.
