■ In a bid to raise awareness and promote proactive action against dengue fever, Asaam Rifles organised an awareness campaign at Jiribam district, Manipur on the occasion of World Dengue Day on 16 May 2025. With an aim to enhance the awareness and measures undertaken, the campaign comprised of a lecture, medial camp and fumigation drive.
A medical camp cum lecture was organized at Bidyanagar by the medical team of Assam Rifles wherein around 200 locals from different communities and students participated. As part of the same campaign, a fumigation drive was carried out at IDP Camp Jakrudhar to sanitise the area and enhance the overall hygiene of the area.
The campaign showcased the commitment of the Assam Rifles in raising awareness across all communities against various diseases and continued efforts to uplift communities, nurture the life potential & foster a spirit of healthy living.
