30 Battalion CRPF organized a Civic action
programme at Village Jorabari

under PS Gingia in Biswanath Charali District
30 Bn CRPF having Headquarter at Tezpur and having jurisdiction in Sonitpur,
Biswanath and Lakhimpur Districts has been performing both operational and

law and order duties in these districts. Installation of three street solar lights to

villagers at Jorabari Village in Biswanath Charali district living by its motto
Utkrishta Hamara Sankalp” was concluded followed by programme which

was attended by respected eminent personality of the villages and large number

of villagers.
This solar light installation program was organized to illuminate remote
rural areas of Biswanath District and to reach out people residing in remote

village of unit’s AOR.

The solar light installation programme was inaugurated By Sh. Rahul
Kant Sahu, Second in command 30 BN CRPF in presence of Shri B.V. Singh
Jodha Assistant Commandant, 30 Bn. CRPF, village head of Jorabari Shri

Mantu Bhagwati, Shri Rohit kand, Panchayat President, Shri Purn Hazarika,
Village President and resident of the area. Sh. Rahul Kant Sahu Second in
command inaugurating the solar lights spoke in length about the commitment
of CRPF and 30 Battalion in particular to offer a helping hand to the local

people in all aspects of social sector. He stressed that the programme was held

under the aegis of the unit commandant Sh. Arun Kumar Meena and the able
guidance of Sh. Sarbjit Singh, Inspector General of OPS sector Jorhat and Sh. H
S Rawat Dig Range Khatkhati.
Sh. Rahul Kant Sahu Second in command 30 BN CRPF also briefed
villagers about ongoing civic action programme regarding installation of three
nos street light in village Dhekerigaon U/PS Thelamara and future programme
regarding construction of toilet in various School, Bus Stand, installation of
library and a medical camp also will be organized soon in various parts of
Assam to help common peoples of Assam. He also motivated villagers specially
youth regarding education and employment opportunity in CRPE.
