● Assam Rifles commemorated 150 years of the iconic national song ‘Vande Mataram’ with mass singing events organized under Srikona Battalion in NIT Silchar, KV Masimpur, and government schools across Jiribam, Tamenglong, and Noney districts. This grand celebration brought together around 1500 patriotic citizens, who sang the revered song in unison, filling the air with patriotism and national pride.

The mass singing event encouraged citizens to come together and celebrate the significance of ‘Vande Mataram’, with students, locals and dignitaries participating enthusiastically, showcasing the spirit of unity and patriotism.
