LOKRA BATTALION ORGANISED “RAKSHABANDHAN CELEBRATION WITH LOCALS OF SONITPUR & BNC DISTRICT

Lokra Battalion under the aegis of Headquarter 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) celebrated Rakshabandhan with students of ARPS Lokra, KV Lokra, Rangapara College and Defence Preparatory Academy, BNC.

 

Lokra Battalion has been conducting various employment and educational programmes in Sonitpur and BNC districts of Assam.

 

The abovementioned schools and colleges as a gesture for thanking the contribution made by Assam Rifles, invited our soldiers to celebrate the auspicious festival of Rakshabandhan with their students.

A total of 100 troops from the Lokra battalion went to these educational institutes to strengthen the brethren bond existing between the Assam Rifles and locals. This initiative of Assam Rifles was highly appreciated by the children and staff of these schools and colleges.
