Special Meeting of Alumni of Auniati Kamaldev Higher Secondary School Concludes Successfully

Auniati Kamaldev Higher Secondary School, established in 1867 and one of the oldest educational institutions in Kamrup district, hosted a special meeting of its alumni today. The meeting, held under the chairmanship of Alumni Association President Utpal Tamuli, was graced by the presence of the school’s Principal, Purabi Bharali, and Management Committee President, Dr. Ishankur Saikia. Teachers, alumni, and other dignitaries also attended the event.

The primary agenda of the meeting revolved around preparations for the upcoming evaluation program under the “Gunotsav” initiative and the role of alumni in supporting the school’s development. Mukuteshwar Goswami, Secretary of the Alumni Association, highlighted past contributions of the alumni in academic, cultural, and sports fields and called for discussions on future initiatives.

Rupak Deka, Vice-President of the Management Committee, outlined the achievements and goals of the school. Advisory members of the alumni group, including Thaneshwar Sharma, Saurav Borah, Raman Nath, and Chief Coordinator Biswajit Baruah, expressed their willingness to provide active support and guidance.

In his speech, Saurav Borah elaborated on strategies to increase student enrollment in the coming days. He also acknowledged the commendable results achieved by the school in the previous “Gunotsav” evaluations and urged collective efforts to improve further.

Alumnus Thaneshwar Sharma assured support in both academic and extracurricular areas to address the school’s needs. Similarly, Raman Nath emphasized addressing challenges faced by the school management and teachers, suggesting collaborative efforts to resolve them for the institution’s progress.

Dr. Ishankur Saikia, President of the Management Committee, shared insights into key policy decisions aimed at the holistic development of the school, including enhanced academic infrastructure and initiatives in cultural and sports arenas.

The meeting concluded with a commitment from all stakeholders to work together for the betterment of Auniati Kamaldev Higher Secondary School.
