The two week long celebrations to commemorate 576th Birth Anniversary of Srimanta Sankardev Chair

The two week long celebrations to commemorate 576th Birth Anniversary of Srimanta Sankardev Chair, Panjab University ended with the last lecture of Prof.Dayanand Pathak at the Indian Theatre department on 18th October.

Prof. Pathak visited several places on the Panjab University campus during his stay at P.U. He also met with the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Renu Vig, and commended the sincere efforts of the Shrimanta Shankardev Chair in achieving its goals. Additionally, he met the Registrar, Prof. Y.P. Verma, and shared his experiences of being a visiting professor under the Shrimanta Shankardev Chair.

Being the coordinator of the Shrimanta Shankardev Chair, I extend my gratitude to Prof. Pathak for familiarizing hundreds of students and research scholars with Shrimanta Shankardev’s contributions. The university community acknowledged and appreciated his efforts.
