UNION MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOOD PROCESSING INDUSTRIES AND JAL SHAKTI VISITS DG ASSAM RIFLES AT LAITKOR, SHILLONG
Asom khobor digital desk Shillong 24 Seb:: Prahlad Singh Patel, Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries and Jal Shakti, today, visited Headquarters of DG Assam Rifles at Laitkor.
Patel was received and conducted by Maj Gen SS Deusi, VSM ADG Assam Rifles. The Minister commenced his visit by paying homage to the Soldiers who have made the supreme sacrifice for the Nation at the ‘Assam Rifles War Memorial’.
Thereafter he was given an overview of the Assam Rifles. Patel also interacted with the troops over a meal. He praised the high morale of the troops and appreciated the efforts of the Assam Rifles in maintaining security and stability in the North East.
