Lokra Battalion under the aegis of Headquarter 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised Run for Fun at Lokra Garrison to promote National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas)on 28 October 2022.
A Pledge Taking Ceremony was also conducted by troops of Lokra Battalion to impart awareness among the troops about the observance of Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31 October 2022.
A strength of 225 individuals including Officers and troops of Lokra Battalion participated in the events with great zeal and enthusiasm in the events aimed at instilling the sense of unity among the security forces.
