LOKRA BATTALION OF ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISED TREE PLANTATION DRIVE

Lokra Bn under the aegis of HQ 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organized a tree plantation drive on 23 June 2022,
to create awareness on global warming.A total of 100 saplings of Ashoka tree, Guava and Elephant Apples were planted during the event. The event was aimed to raise awareness among all rks and local people to protect the environment and contributing towards restoring the ecosystem.
A total of 72 Assam Rifles personnel and Civilians participated in the event organised.
