In a decisive blow to narco trafficking in the region, Assam Rifles in close coordination with Cachar Police, recovered 684 grams of heroin worth ₹3.5 crore hidden inside 56 soap cases on 26 May 2025 ftom general area Amraghat village, Mohankhal, Cachar.
During the operation one .32mm bore, US made pistol, make Victor and 19 live rounds were seized and also apprehended one individual.
This successful operation highlights Assam Rifles’ unwavering commitment to combat the menace of drug trafficking in the region.
