◊ Assam Rifles is organising Nine days National Integration Tour to
Shillong, Guwahati and Tezpur for the children of various remote
schools in Cachar, Tamenglong and Noney districts of Assam and
Manipur from 12-20 March under the project OPERATION
SADBHAVANA.
Tour was flagged off from Assam Rifles Headquarters at Srikona,
Silchar on 12 March 2024. A strength of 28 students accompanied by
the teaching staff are participating in the NIT. During the nine days tour,
students will be visiting various places of cultural and scientific
importance at Shillong, Guwahati and Tezpur.
Tour is aimed to broaden the horizons of youth of remote areas to
gain knowledge about the different cultures and scientific developments
of our great nation. The integration tour would also endeavour to boost
patriotism and instill national pride among the students.
