As a tribute & in memory of first Assam CM, Bharat Ratna Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi, GoA has instituted the Lokapriya Gopinath Bordoloi Award to recognise those making exemplary contributions towards national integration. The award carries a cash reward, a citation & a shawl.
