● Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with Cachar Police, recovered a significant cache of arms, narcotics, and cash from general area Jurkhal, District Cachar, based on specific intelligence inputs from own sources corroborated by ARFIU.
The recovery included one .32 pistol, one airgun with telescopic sight, approximately 10,000 Yaba tablets valued at ₹3.12 crore, 23 grams of heroin, cash amounting to ₹14.9 lakh, and one mobile handset.
One individual has been detained in connection with the recovery and handed over to Cachar Police for further investigation and apprehension of co-accused.
