The Hon’ble Governor of Assam celebrated the festival of colours with 38 Assam Rifles at Srikona on 04 February 2026, marking the vibrant festival with cultural performances and eco-friendly initiatives. The event featured the Assam Rifles pipe band playing melodious tunes, setting a festive atmosphere.
The highlight of the celebration was a thrilling Khukri dance by 38 Assam Rifles troops, showcasing their warrior spirit and rich cultural heritage. The performance symbolised the bravery and valour of the force, leaving the audience in awe.
A tree plantation drive was also organised as part of the celebrations, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability. The event was cherished by the soldiers, making it a memorable Holi celebration.
