ASSAM RIFLES COMMENCED TAILORING COURSE FOR THE WOMEN OF NEW KAIPHUNDAI VILLAGE IN MANIPUR

Assam Rifles commenced a two-month tailoring course for women of New Kaiphundai Village, Tamenglong district, Manipur. Initially 20 local women have enrolled themselves in the course and a professional instructor has been hired for the duration of the course. Assam Rifles will distribute sewing machines upon completion of course to the participants which will help the women of New Kaiphundai Village in developing valuable sewing skills, employment opportunities and improve their daily lives.

The village authority lauded the efforts of the Assam Rifles and conveyed their gratitude for the efforts made in providing support to the villagers. The project will increase the trust of the people in security forces and their perception towards Assam Rifles. Assam Rifles will continue to work relentlessly for the people.
