Srikona Battalion of Headquarter Agartala Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) with an aim to educate the children and teachers conducted a detailed lecture on prevention of child abuse at St John School of Nungba Village, District Noney, Manipur. The lecture was meant to make children and teachers aware of what child abuse is and how it can be prevented.
Lecture also covered the alarming rate at which Child Abuse is growing and how it has far reaching consequence hampering positive growth of a child from their tender age.
During the lecture it was also explained that how parents and teachers Play a crucial role in curbing rise of Child Abuse by way of constant communication with children and students about the sanctity of the body parts and the various forms of Child Abuse.
